ReplyDeletei like janet weiss, quasi-style. i don't know nothin' about technicalities, but i know what i like. i also like ben's friend mark small. highly entertaining when he plays in unison with that girl from that crazy band they're both in. i didn't like the band as much [they scared me actually] as i liked the drummers. holly chagnon is quite possibly the cutest drummer in the history of cute drummers. how come no one has mentioned def leppard? that guy is an inspiration. right?

good call mandy, up until now i wasn't sure if that was Bonham on that album or if he had died and they tried to replace him (like the Who) but it was (allmusic.com)

greg i gotta say, there is something that strikes me not quite right about billy higgins style...its so clean and smooth its boring (to me) i liked him on 'free jazz' and the don cherry stuff he did, but on albums like 'ornette!' blah.. i'd take rashied anyday! :)
