Snow!
that white blankety illusion of a perfect
day when the cold recedes and the white
sparkle sun shines away

Snow!
if only for a moment it comes
to sharpen my perspective of this
world like a yellow sun drenched desert

Snow!
falling falling falling
sled sleigh angles king-of-the-mountain
bringing back my child-hood snow balls
an inch at a time
